The Estergebirge belongs to the Bavarian Prealps and is bounded on the west by the Loisachtal, in the north by the Eschenlainetal, in the east by the valley between Einsiedl am Walchensee and Wallgau and in the south by the line Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Krün. The climbs to the highest peaks are from the Loisachtal and Krün / Wallgau from long. Only the Wank and the Simmetsberg are faster to reach. Therefore the Estergebirge is relatively calm.
We want to inspire people to actively participate in the great outdoors. That's why we write about big adventures and small microadventures, mountain tours, hiking and biking, outdoor gear, gear and gimmicks, outdoor knowledge and know-how, books and outdoor culture.
