One week holiday in July - what to do? The planned Hochtourenwoche has burst, so we rescheduled unceremoniously, got a vehicle, threw all sorts of stuff and junk in the trunk and steered the body in the Danube valley to climb. For my companion this week should be the first contact with rock in combination with several rope lengths.
On the first day we went to be warm directly in the direction of the natural park rocks. The first contact with the sometimes very greasy kicks was done and immediately brought us a respectful portion of respect.
The following days we spent terribly sweating in the simple Danube valley classics on Stuhlfels, made the opaque on Schreyfels, made after shopping in Sigmaringen a short stop on the prospect rock, rappelled in the thunderstorm and rain on Stuhlfels through the Irisweg and developed quite rabid Methods to move the rope that gets stuck when pulling off to move along. In short: we had fun.
The yield of these hot days:
Classic:
- Gotzmannkante III
- Normal route III
- Iris Trail IV
- Opaque IV
- Adolf Niklas memorial path IV
Nature park rock:
- Rangers Love V
- Samson IV
- Schnecktik IV
- Kit IV
- some voluntary and involuntary variants on the chair rock
